We strive to build meaningful, lasting relationships with our patients, guiding them throughout their lifelong journey toward optimizing their health and wellness.

  • Psychiatric Evaluation and Diagnosis New patient evaluations consist of a comprehensive assessment of symptoms, previous treatments, and medical history. Together, we will determine the most effective plan of care for you. These evaluations are scheduled for 60 minutes.
  • Medication Management For successful treatment outcomes, ongoing management of medication responses is essential. Our medication management visits are scheduled for 30 minutes and range from weekly to every three months, depending on individual needs.
  • Counseling Whether used alone or alongside medication management, counseling is a vital component of overall mental wellness. We offer personalized individual counseling services for individuals of all ages.
  • Genetic Testing & Consultation Understanding how your body metabolizes medications can significantly enhance treatment effectiveness. Through the Genesight test, we can identify any variations in how your body responds to common medications. This process includes a brief initial consultation, a DNA cheek swab, and a follow-up review of results after 1-2 weeks. Please note that Genesight testing is billed separately.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is concierge psychiatry, and how is it different from traditional psychiatry?
Concierge psychiatry offers more personalized care, longer appointment times, and direct communication with your psychiatrist, unlike traditional models that may feel rushed or limited.
How long are concierge psychiatry appointments usually?
Initial psychiatric evaluations are typically 60 minutes, while follow-up medication management sessions last about 30 minutes. The schedule is tailored to each patient’s needs.
Can concierge psychiatry be done through virtual visits?
Yes, concierge psychiatry can be accessed both in-person and virtually, making it flexible and convenient no matter where you are located.
Do I need counseling if I’m already taking medication?
Counseling is often recommended alongside medication management because it helps address emotional, behavioral, and lifestyle factors that medication alone may not resolve.
What is genetic testing for psychiatry, and how does it help?
Genetic testing, like the Genesight test, analyzes how your body processes medications. This information can help your psychiatrist choose treatments that may work more effectively with fewer side effects.
How often will I need follow-up visits with my psychiatrist?
Follow-up frequency depends on your treatment plan. Some patients need weekly visits, while others may only require check-ins every few months.
Is concierge psychiatry only for people with severe mental health conditions?
No, concierge psychiatry can support anyone seeking a more personalized and proactive approach to mental wellness—whether for mild anxiety, depression, or more complex psychiatric needs.
